A small town of about 1500 residence, plus a surrounding area with about 30% additional population. Port Orford is the oldest townsite on the Oregon coast, and has one of only a few dolly docks in the world (where boats get lifted out of the ocean onto a dock). The town has several bars, two stores, 1 doctor's office, ambulance and fire department. We are also conveniently located within 30 miles of several golf courses.

Primary attractions to the area are during the spring/summer months when out door activity is at its best. Attractions include ocean, lake, river, and land activites including but not limited to surfing, rafting, fishing, jet skiing, hiking, and biking. Art galleries are huge here, so there will be no limit of art to explore (including crafts). (We also have several bars!)
